Arriving & checking in

You are to fill out the guest check-in form and present a valid photo ID before check-in

A refundable caution deposit of ₦100,000 is required at check-in.

Check-in is 2 pm. Check-out is noon.

Payment confirms the reservation. If a deposit is made, full payment is required before check-in.

For extension, the guest is required to make payment before the expiration of the current payment

Our 1-month stay is a 30-night cycle.

Life in the apartment

Smoking is strictly prohibited except in designated areas. Candles, incense, and essential oils (diffusing, vaporising, etc.) are forbidden and treated as smoking.

CheckersBNB enforces a No In-Apartment Party Policy.

No in-apartment party policy is enforced.

Checkers offers fast WiFi. Using the WiFi network for illegal activities can lead to fines and eviction from the property

Your reservation already includes scheduled cleaning (every 2 days). If you require additional cleaning during your stay, you may request it.

Damages

You are liable for any damage to the apartment during your stay. Damage to apartments, fixtures, and furnishings will attract 100% of the cost of the new replacement value plus shipping and handling charges, if any.

Cancellations & payments

In case of direct bookings, free cancellation is 14 days before check-in. After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid. If the guest cancels less than seven days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded. For bookings made through other booking platforms, please refer to the cancellation policy on that platform. These include Airbnb and Booking.com

Guests & occupancy

Children of all ages are welcome. Parents, guardians or chaperones are responsible for supervising them at all times.

The maximum occupancy for the

One (1) bedroom apartment, two (2) persons.
Two (2) bedroom apartments, four (4) persons.
Three (3) bedroom apartment, six (6) persons

Health, safety & conduct

Checkers BNB reserves the right to refuse accommodations to a guest arriving with a contagious disease. In cases where sickness occurs during the stay, please notify the staff. If you bring any infestation into your room or premises, we may charge you for the expenses necessary to address the infestation.

Checkers BNB will refuse to admit in our apartments or may remove a person without a refund for;

a. failing to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by Checkers Hospitality for the operation and management of our apartments.

b. is under the influence of hard drugs and acts chaotically.

c. is not in compliance with Nigerian laws.

d. seeks to use the apartment for an unlawful purpose.

f. bringing an unlawfully possessed firearm, an explosive, hazardous, or toxic substance.

g. destroys, damages, or threatens harm to apartment property, guests, or staff.

CheckersBNB reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary, or add to these Apartment Policies/House Rules. Please inquire regularly for updates to Policy/House Rules.

Liability & support

CheckersBNB assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please contact us immediately.

Our customer care lines are open 24/7. You may offer your comments, suggestions, complaints, and compliments.

Upon using the accommodation and filing the check-in form, it is noted that the guest has understood the house rules and that they accept their obligations. If the guest is unwilling to accept these provisions, he is obliged to leave the accommodation
